The Norton Class of 1966 had a 50th Reunion at Barberton Brookside Country Club on Sept 9 – 10, 2016.
There were about 100 people from the Classes of 64, 65, 66 and 67 in attendance for the Friday night meet-and-greet.
There was a good turnout for the Saturday morning high school tour. Several cadre from the school took us on a tour of our old high school. There have been a lot of changes and several additions to the school since we attended.
The new high school will not be completed until the end of the year. Due to the building construction, we were not about to tour it. It is located just north of the old high school along the west side of Cleve-Mass Rd. The cadre were able to show us a PowerPoint presentation of the new high school plans and some photo’s of the current state of the buildings. WOW, what a school.
There were about 100 classmates and guests in attendance for the dinner Saturday evening. Steve Struharik was our M.C. for the event.
Thanks to Paul Tople and others for the pictures that they took those two evenings. There are two albums under the Pictures tab of this website. They are labeled 50th Reunion Album 1 and 2. The group picture that was taken of our classmates that evening is in the Pictures/Group Pics tab of this website.
Best wishes to all of our classmates and their families.
